Shrove Tuesday was celebrated last Tuesday in SNC. Children in fourth class got to make delicious pancakes and add their favourite toppings.
Fourth class really enjoyed station teaching in Science. They learned about fingerprints, acids and bases, circuits and testing for starch.
Fourth class enjoyed a brilliant lesson today with Ms. McCarthy all about parachutes. They learned about air resistance and gravity and had great fun doing a fair test to to see what material worked best to make the parachute descend slowly to the ground. 🪂

Fourth class was creating and designing catapults. It was lovely to hear squeals of laughter as missiles (fluffy pom poms 😀) were fired through the air in a very serious catapult war.
