I hope you all enjoyed the long weekend and the lovely weather that we have been having. Thanks once again for all of the amazing work that is being done at home. I know it’s not easy to stay motivated and I really appreciate the effort that everyone is making.

Thanks also for all of the photos and videos that you have been sending of different work and activities that the children have completed. I love seeing them all so keep them coming.

Below is a suggested scheme of work. As always there is no pressure to complete all of this work. Do as much as you are able for and in any order that you like. Ms. O’Sullivan and I will continue to put activities on Seesaw each day but these can be done whenever you like. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us at mslanigansnc@gmail.com or msosullivansnc@gmail.com.

Kind regards,

Miss Lanigan.

Art

Solar System – use playdough to make a model of the solar system. If you do not have playdough then you can draw the solar system, trying to keep in mind the sizes of the planets and the sun. Use appropriate colours. You can use any materials that you like.

This video will help. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wAJg6aKqLBk

PE

There are plenty of ideas for P.E. on this webpage https://www.weareteachers.com/virtual-pe-classes/

Don’t forget that games the children play and going for walks are all part of PE.

SPHE

When there is a lot of change all around us, we can feel upset and worried. Change can be hard. We often want things to stay the same because that makes us feel safe. We need to remember that change is part of life and that we have coped with it before! We can’t stop things changing, but we can learn to cope – we can be brave, even if we are afraid! Now think back on times when you coped well with a change before – something that you weren’t looking forward to or were worried about. Draw a picture of one of these times and write about what happened. Maybe something good that you weren’t expecting came out

of this change!

Look at the activity on Seesaw for dealing with worries.

Music

Continue to practise tin whistle tunes.
