On Thursday 13th, 5th and 6th class will go to Bay Sports in Athlone on their school tour. It’s important that all children arrive to school at 8am and that if your child is unable to attend to please contact the school mobile on 086 0233023.
The children must bring the following
- Swimsuit
- Clothing and footwear
-Hat (sun hat/woolly hat) depending on the weather
-Leggings, tee shirt, rain jacket, and old runners (for wearing in the water).
– Spare Footwear i.e. old runners to protect feet, these will get wet. No Flip-flops.
-Spare cotton socks for grip on the waterpark.
-Dry clothes to wear home
-Plastic bag to put wet clothes into.
- Packed lunch with plenty of drinks.
- Sun cream.
- Bottle of water.
After Baysports the children will go to McDonalds in Athlone. Your child may purchase a meal or an ice cream in McDonalds if they wish. The maximum any child should bring is €10 and each child is responsible for their own money. No devices such as mobile phones etc are allowed on the tour.
We hope to arrive back at school at 6.15. If there is a significant time delay you will be informed via text message.
