Last December Templemore Credit Union launched a search for teams of four, ‘fearless school children’ who could make it through to the national final of the All-Ireland Credit Union Schools’ Quiz . This year, for the second year running, Scoil Naomh Cualán managed to get to the final which took place in the R.D.S. in Dublin.Each year around 25,000 school children across Ireland take part in the quiz so it was a marvellous achievement to get to Dublin for the final. Well Done to our under 13 quiz team of Razuk, Eoghan, Emma and Tara who participated in the All Ireland Credit Union Quiz on Sunday, April 8th 2018.Congratulations also to Cillian who was involved in an earlier round of the credit union quiz. With nearly 100 teams competing the standard was extremely high.The team managed to finish in a very respectable joint-eighth place. It was a very memorable experience for the children and their families. The team were presented with a certificate of recognition for participating in the final and a goodie bag.
