Yesterday was a fantastic day for Borrisoleigh. We would like to congratulate our senior hurlers on reaching the All Ireland Hurling Final. Also we are extremely proud of our pupils Conor, Emily and Daniel as they won the Munster Final in Scór na nÓg in the Nuachleas competition. It is brilliant for our parish to have two All-Ireland Finals to look forward to in the coming weeks.
Unfortunately due to circumstances with the provider, gymnastics will now not commence until 10th February. We would like to apologise for this delay.
We would like to remind you that the school will be closed this Thursday due to the teachers attending a curriculum day.
This Friday, Clare our school secretary will be striking outside the school as part of the Fórsa Trade Union strike action for pay and conditions. All in Scoil Naomh Cualán fully support Clare and her union in this action. We hope that this action will see results and that Clare and all secretaries will receive proper pay and conditions for the vital work that they do.
