The count down is really on for Baiba’s running challenge in aid of our school!
This Friday the 28th of February, Baiba will run from The Rock of Cashel to Borrisoleigh, a distance of 32km!
Baiba approaced the school with the idea as a way of expressing her thanks to the school for caring for and educating her children Elizabete and Ralfs. We are so thankful to her for undertaking this challenge and the funds raised will be invested in sports and well-being initiatives for all the children in Scoil Naomh Cualán.
An iDonate page has been set up for the event and people have been so generous to date! If you would like to support Baiba please follow this link, https://www.idonate.ie/e
Baiba’s run is being supported by our fantastic ‘Track Attack’ group who are helping with the promotion of the run and the associated logistics.
‘Track Attack’ are also running a night for the school to coincide with Baiba’s run this Friday night. Huge thanks to the ‘Track Attack’ committee for all their support. I am attaching a schedule for the night to this email for your information. We would love to see a huge turnout on the night and the event is open to adults and children.

Our Parent’s Association are going to help with catering in the Sports Hall after the races. They would really appreciate the help of some volunteers to set up the tables, serve the tea/coffee and tidy up etc. If you are in a position to help out, will you please message Marie Maher on 0871270750, thank you. Also, we would be delighted if you could donate some sandwiches, buns, fruit platters etc. for the event, please contact Marie if you are in a position to help out.
