We would like to thank all who donated to our Charity Breakfast last Friday. At the moment we have €693.30 raised for Pieta House.
As part of Seachtain na Gaeilge, third to sixth class today took part in our annual ‘Tráth na gCeist’ which is a fun quiz through Irish. On Friday all pupils may wear green, white or gold to celebrate our green day. There is no obligation on any child to dress up but all are welcome to join in the fun. All classes have been practising hard at their Irish dancing for some time. On Friday we will host a big Céilí Mór and all pupils will participate.
This week sees the start of matches for our pupils in the senior school. We ask that going forward due to the continuing Coronavirus threat that all pupils would bring their own water bottle to the games and trainning. This is only a precaution for now but we cannot leave anything to chance. We would advise all players to have re-usable water containers that they don’t share with anyone else. If everyone could label their own water containers please that would be very helpful to all.
We would also ask you to remind your child/children the importance of hand washing. Please be advised that the school will close on Friday at 12 for staff training and that there will be no school next Monday or Tuesday.
