We are delighted to inform you of the following achievements by our talented and hard working pupils:
Our Credit Union Quiz Team of Razuk Atik, Tara Kennedy, Emma Maher and Eoghan O’ Hagan achieved 8th place in the U13 category in the All-Ireland Final recently. Considering that every primary school in the country participates in this quiz, finishing in the top eight is a remarkable achievement and we congratulate the team and all involved in preparing them. We also extend our congratulations to Cillian O’ Brien who was part of the original team which came 1st at District Level but who was unable to participate in the subsequent competition due to circumstances beyond his control.
- Our senior athletes performed brilliantly in the Co. Tipperary Indoor Athletics Championships in Nenagh yesterday, returning home with team and individual medals as a result of outstanding performances in a filed of the most talented athletes in the county. The following are the results from the Championships:

Sixth Class Relay:
3rd Place (Bronze medals) ( Patrick Brett, Chloe Carroll, Aoife Fitzgerald, Cian Murphy)

- We would also like to remind parents that our school will be closed due to the Referendum on Friday, May 25th and on Tuesday, May 29th due to Curriculum Inservice.
- We thank Borrisoleigh Drama Group for their kindness in volunteering a donation to our ASD Unit, Le Cheile, from the proceeds of their play,’ A Wake in the West’ which will take place this weekend and next in the Marian Hall and we wish them every success and look forward to a brilliant production.
