COUNTY CHAMPIONS 2019
Borrisoleigh became County Champions on Sunday 3rd of November, ending a 33 year wait to be reunited with Dan Breen.
We were delighted to welcome members of the Borrisoleigh squad on Friday. On this special day we were thrilled to have three tropies, the Dan Breen, Liam McCarthy and the James Nowlan in our school.
The team received a hero’s welcome with our Fifth and Sixth class provided a guard of honour as the team were piped into school by Ms O’Brien. Following a tricky question and answer session, the whole assembly were led by Timmy Delaney in a stirring rendition of ‘Lovely Fair Ileigh’.
