Last Thursday we celebrated Grandparents day in Scoil Naomh Cualán. Fr Hennessy said a lovely mass where children and their grandparents sat together. The mass was enhanced by the beautiful singing of our school choir. Paddy Dolan spoke about what it means to him to be a grandfather. After mass the children came back to school for a party and the grandparents went into the Parish Centre where they were treated to hot sausage rolls accompanied by tea and coffee. It was a fantastic day. Over 160 grandparents attended and we also remembered the grandparents who could not be with us.
