We are very busy at the moment in Scoil Naomh Cualán as our Confirmation day is fast approaching on the 26th March.
In the past few weeks we have had many achievements and we want to acknowledge our fantastic success-
- Congratulations to Patrick, Michael, Cathal and Jack who qualified for the All Ireland in the Credit Union quiz. We would like to wish you the very best of luck in the All Ireland which takes place in the RDS on the 7th This is a brilliant achievement for our school.
- 3rd to 6th class had a wonderful day in UL at the Peace Proms on the 3rd Thanks to all the children who contributed to the concert with their singing and dance moves.
- A big thank you to all who attended and contributed to “Get Active with Scoil Naomh Cualán”. A special word of thanks to Track Attack who hosted the event. €1100 was raised.
- Well done to all our students who participated in Scór na bPaístí over the last number of weeks. It was a great achievement for our parish that we won 2 north B titles and 5 north A titles. Congratulations to all concerned.
Upcoming events-
- We will host a green day in the school on Thursday. Children may wear green clothes to school on the day.
- 6th class will open a Siopa Gaeilge tomorrow for 2nd to 6th class will have the opportunity to purchase items in the siopa while improving their Irish.
- 5th class will now host their JEP show case day on Thursday 21st March (please note change of date) 9am-11.50am in their class room. The children are hoping that as many people as possible will call on the day to pay for the frames that they have ordered.
The children will have no school on the 13th May due to the teachers having a curriculum day.
