We have been excited all week for Halloween. We have learned all about an púca, an cailleach agus an Bairín breac in Irish. We tasted the Bairín breac on Thursday. One girl in our room was so lucky, she found the golden fainne.
On Friday, Junior Infants had some scary and some friendly visitors with witches, superheros and skeletons taking over the classroom. These visitors worked hard to make the 5 little pumpkins and then had a turn on the catwalk as all of the Junior School gethered in the halla. We also had a halloween disco and played musical statues.
