Things are back in full swing here in Scoil Naomh Cualán after our mid-term break. There are a lot of things going on at the moment such as Peace Proms, Credit Union Quiz Confirmation preparation, The JEP etc. etc.
We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Tom Delaney on captaining the South Tipperary soccer team to All Ireland glory. Tom played a huge role in the game winning the man of the match award and scoring the winning penalty. Well done Tom, we are all very proud of you!
In the media during the past week there has been much talk about an inappropriate game/app. We would advise all parents/guardians to continue monitoring their children’s online activities.
Reminder: The last day to order GAA equipment is Friday.
Thanking you for your continued support,

As part of our Travel Flag, we are hoping to set up a ‘Park and Stride Initiative’ in Scoil Naomh Cualán. Based on a recent survey, we found that on average approximately 27 children walk to school every day. We hope that this number will increase over the coming months. If we were to set up a ‘Park and Stride’, it would involve children meeting at a central point in the Park every morning and walking to school together. We hope that some parents will get involved in this initiative and volunteer to walk to school with children in the morning. A Walkability Audit has been conducted with the help of our Green School Advisor and he advised us that the Park is a safe location to start walking from. If you have interest in helping the Green School Committee set up a ‘Park and Stride’ from Scoil Naomh Cualán, please sign the slip below and return it to school by Friday.
Thanking you in advance,
The Green School Committee.
I would like to help out with the setting up of a ‘Park and Stride’ in Scoil Naomh Cualán.
