Fifth class enjoyed the beautiful tree trail around Rathmoy. They loved reading all about the trees on the  information signposts.
The trail booklet includes a quiz to complete when finished the walk. All children passed with flying colours!! The afternoon was packed with interesting and fun facts
about trees as well as getting to enjoy the beautiful weather with friends. There was lots of fun and laughter as the children walked the loop. One of the highlights of the day was meeting with our chairperson of the BOM who shared a wonderful story with the children about the first hurling county final played in Rathmoy  in 1887. The children are really looking forward to researching this major event over the coming months.
