On May 28th, children from third to sixth class went on their school tour. This year the children were taken to Tayto Park, in Co. Meath. It was undoubtedly the highlight of the year so far. From the moment they landed at the entrance gates, the children were kept extremely busy all day in the beautiful sunshine. Some of the attractions included: Power Surge, Air Race and the 5D Cinema. They also enjoyed a ‘splash of fun’ on the Viking Voyage at the park. Home to Europe’s largest wooden roller-coaster, the children were thrilled with the choice of tour this year. The boys and girls also got to see some of the different species of animals including their mischievous meerkats, otters and Amur tigers. A beautiful hot lunch was also provided for the children. It was a day which the children will remember forever more! The day was completed, of course, with a bag of Tayto crisps for everyone!
