Junior Infants had great fun with a STEM challenge this week! Their task was to build the tallest tower possible using marshmallows and cocktail sticks. They were given very little guidance at the start, just to see how they would get on.
Very quickly, lots of children realised they needed to build a strong platform first — super problem-solving! They had wonderful fun experimenting, and a few children managed to build towers up to 12cm high, which is fantastic for Junior Infants!
