Dear parents and families,

I hope that you are all keeping safe and well.
After another fantastic week of engagement, I want to say thank you so much for all the effort so many of you are putting in. It is lovely to see their work and hear their reading. I am also loving all the photos of their home activities. The kids are having a great time exploring and creating at home. Necessity is the mother of invention-and in this difficult time I am seeing so much invention and creativity from my kids and from the families.

Attached you will find a suggested outline for the upcoming week. I have listed pages in books as appropriate. However, many of the activities can be done without the accompanying page.
I know that some children engage better with the videos and activities on Seesaw, while others work better with concrete materials and some just like to get the book done. Please do what suits you and your child best in this situation.

Reading to your child is still a huge priority. If they engage with nothing else please read to them/let them read.
