May Madness has definitely hit Junior Infants. Our playtime has transformed into a busy supermarket in the Role Play corner. Children take turns as customers and shopkeepers. The shopkeepers are very busy taking the money, packing the food, stacking the shelves and organising deliveries of food. The busy builders have been exploring different types of shops with some making a multi story shopping centre tower while others worked hard to build a slanted roof on their shop. In the creative corner children made fabulous food from playdough the first week, then had fun with fruit prints the second week. The last group worked hard on their memory skills and turn taking as they played crazy chefs and greedy Gorillas. We have been having great fun.
