We were delighted to have been specially invited to a tournament in Ballina to honour the late Niamh Hogan, an aunt of our sixth class pupil, Joanne. What a wonderful day 3rd to 6th class had in Ballina! The day started with a piper leading all the teams around the pitch followed by the National Anthem. It was a  day of fantastic matches and super hurling and football skill! All of our four teams got to a final which was extremely exciting! We were over the moon to come home with two Cups! What made it even more  special was the fact that  Joanne  picked up the trophy named in honour of her Aunt Niamh! An ice-cream cone at the end of the day really capped off an amazing day!
