On Thursday, 14th June 2018, children from third to sixth class walked to the beautiful Glenkeen Cemetery as part of a local history trail. The trip to Glenkeen cemetery provided opportunities to learn about the
historic past, as well as enjoy the picturesque views of Glenkeen.
During the field trip, the boys and girls examined many of the headstones and found out lots of very interesting information about people who were buried there eg. a Russian princess, a member of the miltary etc. A very memorable day was had by all.
