The girls of Scoil Naomh Cualan had great success in a recent camogie competition. The U-13 camogie team travelled to Templemore where they faced St.Joseph’s N.S. and the Presentation Primary School, Thurles in a blitz. A great start from our team against the Presentation gave us a comfortable lead right from the beginning of the match. Although we were in a great position from early on in the game, the girls continued to give 100% effort to the very end. Our second match against St.Joseph’s was an extremely challenging game. The standard of camogie was very high and competition was intense but thankfully we came out victorious in the end. Each member of our panel played an important role in winning the blitz and they have made everyone in our school community extremely proud. All players involved deserve credit for their effort and in the way they represented themselves and their school. The girls will now represent their school in the county final which will take place in May. Well done girls, keep up the fantastic effort!
