All roads led to Semple Stadium on Wednesday, 21st November 2018 when the boys U-13 football team played in a county final against Fethard. It was the first time ever that the Football County Finals were held in Semple Stadium so it was a great honour to be in Thurles to represent the school on the day. All players deserve huge credit for their effort on the day and the way they represented themselves, their families and their school. The team battled bravely throughout the match but just fell short in the end. The final score was Fethard 0-6 Borrisoleigh 0-2. Well done to the boys for all their hard work and commitment to training over the past few months. Huge credit must also be given to Mr. Small and Mr. McCarthy for their after school training sessions with the boys.
