Hi all,

It’s been a surreal time since we finished school on the 12th. I hope you and your family are doing well. Hopefully we’ll all get back to normality in the near future.
In the mean time, I would encourage you to maintain some form of school routine at a suitable time each school day until the Easter holidays. I have allocated a follow on plan of work below for you to complete this week. Two hours of work each day should suffice. I’ll contact you with an updated plan of work following the Easter break.
I would also encourage everyone to take part in a physical activity of some sort for at least 30 minutes each day, ideally in the morning. Joe Wicks, ‘The Body Coach’, is running free online classes on his YouTube channel each morning at 9am. The classes are specifically designed for primary school children who are off school and out of routine somewhat. Again, this is only a suggestion if it suits you and your family.
My email address is mrmccarthysnc@gmail.com. Feel free to email me at any stage with any difficulties or queries you may have or if you would like to send pictures of any of the children’s work for feedback. I will try to get back to you as soon as I can. I would appreciate if parents could send me a quick email so that I have a contact for each child. Thank you to those who have contacted me thus far.
Stay safe,
James
