Today, we were so lucky to get a visit from our local vet, Niamh, who also happens to be Andrea’s mammy! Niamh brought in a special friend, Rusty, and taught us all about looking after our pets at home. She also brought in her microchip scanner and we practiced scanning the microchip in the teddy. She brought in some of her operation tools and showed us some xrays of when animals ate items that they weren’t suppose to! It was such an informative morning and the children really enjoyed listening to experiences. This visit tied in nicely with our theme of ‘Vets’ for February. We are blessed to have such amazing parents and members of our community that are always willing to help out where they can. Thank you Niamh, Andrea and Rusty!
