Dear Parents,

I hope you all had a nice weekend. Just to say thanks again for all your engagement so far with Seesaw. I hope you have found it alright to use. I have kept thing pretty similar for the coming week. If you have any difficulties or concerns please let me know. If you have not contacted me already about an access code for Seesaw, please do so at msryansnc@gmail.com
I have attached a weekly outline with lots of detail and a daily outline. There is no pressure to complete all the activities listed in either (there are additional options listed in the weekly document). They are just some suggestions. I have been so impressed by the other things that you have been doing at home so please continue to use your own discretion and choose what suits you best.
Please click on the links below to see the outlines for the upcoming week.
I didn’t include 2 very important things in the daily or weekly outlines.
Play is an important part of the Infant school day. During play we may be practicing our turn taking or sharing skills, we might be inventors or problem solvers and we might make a mess! Allowing their creativity in play is so good for developing fine and gross motor skills, using langauge and allowing them to expore and develop ideas. It is only meant to take pressure off-not all learning happens sitting at the table for hours.
And reading. Reading to your child is a fantastic way to build their vocabulary and understanding of language.
I know so many of you do these things already. So take credit for the wonderful things you do with your child. Enjoy this time with them as much as possible. Do what you can and don’t worry about the rest!
